An extremely rare floor lamp designed in the 1970s by the French designer Henri Mathieu. This futuristic design follows a spiral shape with overlapping metal stripes. The mounted mirror silver bulb fits perfectly into the aesthetics of the project. The lamp is made of stainless steel and chrome-plated metal. It comes from a wider series of projects with the same assumptions.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER
Henri Mathieu was a French designer with the main focus on lamp design. Inn 1948 Mathieu founded in the Chutes-Lavie district of Marseille. He designed a line of lights whose poetic source is a galvanised steel chimney cap, as you can see on the left. He was probably inspired by the Moon lamps, designed by Verner Panton in 1960.
